A Vision: ‘Inner Wisdom’ for Care of the Heart
The basis for health is the alignment of the whole Self: body, emotions, mind, and spirit. In this context we talk about spirituality simply to mean connecting to a deeper life practice of meaning and relationship. One of our goals is to assist individuals in their journey toward finding inner wisdom in life choices. This in turn will help them to heal and maintain their body.
A Consultation Practice
Patients with active cardiac symptoms are advised to seek diagnostic services through their primary care physician or start with a cardiac referral where cardiac testing is available.
The practice is designed to assist patients in moving toward optimal health through cultivating an individualized understanding of the lifestyle and mind/body factors contributing to chronic disease.
We are not staffed to provide acute cardiac care, primary care services, or weekend and after hour services. (Note Nearby Urgent Care).
Fee for Service
We do not accept insurance or Medicare reimbursement.
This allows Dr. Swenson to freedom to focus on the teaching and active listening that is the basis for this practice instead of structuring the visit to meet insurance criteria.
